In Ear Headphones Offer Great Quality, Style and Comfort
What could be better than having a great headset for listening to music right on your ears? How about having one that can fit in you ears? For many years, people have been taking advantage of small earbuds that fit in the canal of the ear and allow for a closer bonding experience with music. But many complained that the sound quality, style and comfort levels were below par, making them undesirable. Now, however, with technology like Bluetooth and noise cancellation, many in ear headphones that were once overlooked are now being sought after. In this article, we will look at some pairs that grab the attention of consumers and reviewers.
About In Ear Headphones
There was a time, not too long ago, where you would purchase a pair of earbuds and expect them to be of a lower quality. You knew that they simply would not meet your standards of sound quality. But engineers have rapidly improved the process involved in making them so that many pairs are much better than ever before. Of course, don’t get me wrong; there are still complimentary pairs that come with portable devices – or that are handed out on airplanes to listen to satellite radio – that still sound pretty bad. But overall, we are definitely reaping the benefits of improved technology. Some of these benefits include:
Better Models Available – There are companies like Sennheiser and Bose, both of which known for great audio technology, that put out their own in ear headphones. They definitely may be on the pricier side, but you can count on them to offer incredible sound and a stylish look. And now, even more companies are getting in on the action by offering less expensive models with great features. So you can take advantage of great sound at a great price now more than ever before.
Listen More Comfortably – People are finding that with portable devices becoming as common to carry around as a purse or wallet, they need a great headset that will offer the same level of quality they’re used to getting from their computers, CD or DVD player, etc. By getting a quality earbud to wear when your out shopping, or even exercising, you can get the music experience you want without having to wear a cumbersome headset that constantly slips from your head or needs to be adjusted. This means, while you’re out you get to listen more comfortably.
Freedom to be Stylish – Another issue people have with the traditional over-the-head headset is that the ability to wear headgear becomes hindered. If you want to wear a hat, it may not fit properly on the head with the headset there. And if you want to wear a stylish headband, it may look plain strange. With in ear headphones, this is not something you have to worry about. And with so many companies releasing sleek designs, the headset alone may determine your style moving forward.
Who Offers In Ear Headphones?
Now that we’ve looked at the reasons you should consider this style of earbud, let’s look at some companies that offer them – and the great features the come in tow:
Bose In Ear Headphones – Believe it or not, Bose is keeping it simple by naming the headset exactly what it is. But that’s definitely where the simplicity ends. This headset offers full and rich high-quality audio because of its TriPort acoustic structure. Also, it is incredibly flexible in the number of devices it is compatible with, including laptops, PCs, MP3 players, CD players, iPhones and more. And to make sure that anyone who purchases this headset is comfortable, they offer soft silicone tips in three sizes – pretty cool!
Sennheiser CX500 – This titanium headset comes with noise cancellation technology that reduces ambient noise considerably – a huge plus to those who are fans of crystal clear songs. The come with a variety of eartips to help ensure that the headset has a snug fit. Also, it is compatible with a variety of devices, much like the Bose pair. And they come with a 4-foot long cord that makes sure you don’t get tangled up if you need to make a sudden move.
In ear headphones offer consumers a lot of benefits that keep them coming back for more. So what do you think? Do these tiny earbuds seem to be the new wave of your future? Or will you continue on with your cumbersome over-the-head pair? Whatever you choose, just know that there is a great pair of in ear headphones waiting in the store for you. And with any luck, you will venture out and find that pair – the ones you didn’t know you wanted until you had them.

Hey, thanks for the great article! I’m more of an advocate for headsets though. Hehe. But well, I could be biased. After all, I own a pair of Bose Quiet Comfort 2 personally.
But trust me, it’s an awesome headphone and will definitely enhance your musical experience! Whenever I use it on my overseas trips, I’m literally secluded from the rest of the people and the irritating engines noise! Yes, their noise cancelling technology is that good. It’s also very comfortable on the ears.
The only bane? The price. But the comfort definitely made it worth every penny.
Cheers,
Ellen
